2013 Carolina Has Talent Release

2013 Carolina Has Talent Contestants Slated to Perform

Myrtle Beach, SC – Organizers of Carolina Has Talent, a musical competition held annually
surrounding the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, have announced contestants will perform
during the World Famous Blue Crab Festival to be held this weekend on the Little River
waterfront.

Contestants will perform as the opening act both Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th
beginning at 9am. Performers scheduled include:

Saturday, May 19th – Wendy Baruch & “Stay Tuned”

Sunday, May 20th – Jazmine Hemingway & Laniece Randall

Carolina Has Talent is a program of the Carolina African American Heritage Foundation
(caahf.com), a multifaceted group focusing on the needs of the Myrtle Beach and surrounding
areas. The foundation promotes cultural, arts and educational programs relative to the historical
and culture of African Americans living in the Carolinas. CAHHF collaborates with local
entities and government to promote sustainable growth in Myrtle Beach, better the lives of its
citizens of all races or religions, and works throughout communities to strive for a safe and
healthy environment for its children.
