Carolina Has Talent

“A Musical Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Saturday January 14th

              5:00-7:00pm. Local High School Auditorium

Featuring local amateur and professional entertainment personalities with location and prizes to be announced

  Contestants will be limited to a FOUR (4) minute performance.

  • Contestants understand that the manner and method of judging shall be solely within the discretion of the competition officials and the decision of the judges shall be final.  No appeals will be accepted.
  • Judges will take the audience’s response into consideration when selecting a winner.
  • Performance must be family oriented equivalent to a G rating.
  • Each contestant must sign a release agreement to be submitted with their application and performance.  No exceptions.
  • Contestants must obey all on-site backstage rules including no smoking, no drinking alcohol, no pets or guests, no touching band equipment.
  • We are open to any talented persons, regardless of race, creed or religion, in the spirit of this special tribute event dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

*Any rules not listed above will be governed by the Myrtle Beach Got Talent Competition.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or have written parental consent and guardian must accompany all minors to this event.
  • Accompanying your application and payment, please send an audio and/or visual sample of your performance via one of the following:  You Tube, video/digital file uploaded for viewing online, CD or DVD (CD or DVD will not be returned).

You will be asked to approve “Application Terms” and “Talent Release” in the form below.
